Lime Stone

lime stone

The main method of producing lime is by heating calcium carbonate stone at a temperature of 1000 to 2500 degrees Celsius. With this method, various impurities in it such as calcium dioxide gas are removed.

Of course, the higher the temperature and the better the resulting carbon dioxide gas is removed from the environment, the better the decomposition of limestone takes place. To prepare lime, fixed or continuous furnaces or mechanical furnaces are used.

Lime has been used for the construction of buildings since early times, but the uses of this material go beyond that. Lime is used in cleansing of various places, water and sewage treatment, ceramic and tile production, chemical industry, cement and asphalt production and construction materials, mortar and mortar preparation, food industry, leather cleaning in tannery, etc.
